Momentum continues across the Mac Mic Land portfolio, with an outline planning application now submitted and validated for a site at Twigworth, Tewkesbury
Extending to approximately 31 acres, the proposals present a well-considered scheme that balances the delivery of new homes with a strong emphasis on landscape, green infrastructure and community provision.
The development proposals include:
- Up to 170 homes, accessed via a new roundabout on the A38
- At least 40 percent of homes provided as affordable housing
- Over 50 percent of the site retained as green space, incorporating public open space, community allotments, play areas, nature recovery areas and Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG)
- A landscape led approach designed to respond sensitively to the site’s surroundings
- The scheme places landscape at the heart of the design, creating a development that integrates with its setting while delivering lasting community and environmental benefits.
This submission highlights the collaborative effort behind the project and reflects Mac Mic Land’s approach to bringing forward well considered schemes that respond to local housing needs.
