Mac Mic Land has secured validation of an outline planning application for land at Malmesbury Road, Cricklade, continuing progress across its portfolio in the South West.
Mac Mic Land is pleased to announce the submission and validation of a new outline planning application for a site in Standlake, West Oxfordshire.
The site is identified within the emerging West Oxfordshire Local Plan 2043 as a Preferred Non-Strategic Development Location, supporting its suitability for future residential development.
This submission marks the fourth application brought forward by the Mac Mic Land South-West team in the past three months, reflecting continued momentum and our commitment to building high-quality communities to support the region’s housing needs.
The outline application covers a 29-acre site and proposes:
- Up to 200 new homes, with a minimum of 40% affordable housing
- Up to 300 sqm of retail space
- Provision of new public open spaces
- A landscape-led masterplan, carefully designed to respond to the character and setting of the surrounding area
This scheme aims to deliver a well-balanced and sustainable extension to Standlake, combining high-quality housing with community and environmental benefits.
Mac Mic Land would like to thank its South West team, Richard Kelso (Regional Land Director), Michael Gooch (Head of Planning) and John-Rhys Davies (Planning Manager), for their continued dedication and hard work in bringing this application forward.
Thanks also go to Arron Twamley at Arc Planning for coordinating the consultant team and supporting the delivery of this proposal.
