John‑Rhys (JR) joined Mac Mic Land in March 2026, bringing extensive experience from his previous role with a national housebuilder. A Chartered Town Planner, JR began his career as a planning consultant before moving into development and housebuilding, gaining valuable experience both in the UK and overseas.
JR has played a key role in delivering a wide range of successful residential and mixed‑use schemes across the country, working on projects of varying scale and complexity. He strengthens the team’s capability to identify opportunities, support the promotion of strategic land, and progress sites through the planning process, contributing to the company’s continued regional growth.
Outside of work, JR enjoys spending time with his family. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he now channels his passion into coaching a junior rugby team.
